Cavernova
Sorry Will, I'm not familiar with Cavernomas and it seems no one else is either.
Maybe you could try the Headway helpline ; staff are really helpful and would do their best to answer any of your questions or concerns. Their number is freephone 0808 800 2244 and they're available during office hours.
All best wishes, Cat..
Similar but mine was caused by a clot, lots of things can cause them symptoms and you wouldn’t believe half of them.
Yes my daughter has been diagnosed with cavernomas. She’s had to have a craniotomy to relieve a problem one of the growths caused.
They are going to use radio therapy as the problem is at the back of the head and surgery at this stage is too risky...
Better than chemotherapy less side effects. Regards Ian
Yeah I think we had other methods discussed but the best option for my daughters case was surgery. But now they know she has cavernomas they will keep an eye on the others and treat accordingly. So far so good 👍🏼 I hope it all goes well for your family member.
Thank you it’s my brother in law who will be having the procedure on Tuesday at the Royal Hallam in Sheffield....,
