Just remembered, on a practical note, have read that sunglasses may help with sensitivity to lights after surgery and that sound can be a factor too. Was mentioned in Jill Bolte Taylor's and Jody Mardula's books after they had surgery. So sunglasses may be; may as well take the swim suit and sombrero as well.

Sounds like you'll be fine with what you have Missy. It'll be a relief finally having the procedures over with ; I hope all goes really smoothly and you're back with bunny before the 2 weeks are out. Please update us when you're up to it.

I was 'fortunate' in being unaware of admittance to hospital so was spared the anxiety of anticipation. But those amazing brain surgeons are highly competent & skillful .....so you're in the best of hands. Thinking of you. 😐 Cat x

Good luck. I will always remember my first meal out of surgery. Vegan sandwiches which were divine

I was due to have brain surgery but then an RTA emergency operation patient came in and my op was pushed back a week. The following week I was told that the consultants had decided not to go ahead with it as the risks weren’t outweighed by the benefits.

All of that nervousness for nothing!

Best here from me too.

These guys are the experts so try and chill, however difficult that may be. You will be in good hands, but do take it easy and we will be patiently waiting for the good news when you are through it all.

Best wishes

❤️
