Hi Loubie. I'm across the border in Cheshire and have climbed many Derbyshire hills in the past. But my climbing days are over since a haemorrhage in 2011, although I'm lucky enough to have recovered pretty well in many other respects.

At the three month point you'll still be struggling with all manner of issues. Coming back from brain injury (as your BI team will have told you) is a really slow process ; it was a couple of years before I could look back and see the progress I'd made.

I found word-search games, jigsaws, crosswords and online card games very helpful in the early days for memory, concentration and word finding. Walking (if possible) short distances, resting whenever the need arises, and drinking loads of water are the key rules for getting your body and brain back into shape, along with a healthy diet.

Keep looking in here to get a wide picture of brain injury stories from different folk, and to share your own progress or questions. We have members worldwide so it's pretty big community !

Take care m'love. Hope to see you again soon.... 🙂
