Dear All,
What a Beautiful Morning.... Which I didn't go 'Out' into😒 What a Wet Afternoon.... Which I did.... Never Mind🙄.
I got the bus, along with a Staff Member, and a neighbour, about 1:15pm. My neighbour 'Carol' (not her real name), was at, the Bus Stop before us. As it was raining, and Carol was getting Cold, I said that 'If we are still waiting in Fifteen Minutes, I'll call a cab'. This Normally 'Works' and, almost as soon as I said that, along came a bus. Carol stayed downstairs in the Wheelchair Space, whilst I, and our Staff Member went upstairs.
Once in Town, I parted company with Carol- no doubt off to her 'Club'- and I went and bought a new Cafetiere- my 'Faithful Old Coffee Maker, having finally, packed up.😢 I then went into Wimpy, I hadn't been there for years, and ordered a burger- with chips. Actually Not, THAT bad, really....
I then, headed for, CEX- a Second Hand DVD/ Technology shop. I made a few, quite reasonabley priced, purchases... Band Of Brothers, Life On Earth, The Glenn Millar Story and- very interestingly- When We Left The Earth; The Nasa Missions.
I then Headed for a Coffee Shop, near the bus stops.... I was, for once, very lucky- just as I got the coffee, in a Take Away container, the bus pulled up.
I arrived home not too wet, for a Change.😊 In all, despite the Weather, a pleasant afternoon. I've now got, the Washing on, just a few 'Bits' you understand. (I have also, spent some time, 'checking & cleaning' today's DVDs- always a Good Idea, when buying second hand.) In all a Very Successful afternoon, despite the rain.
