Shipping?

Now I know, that the term, 'Shipping' means to 'Send Something Out' but.... I received a package yesterday that said "DO NOT SHIP BY AIR"

Did it have batteries in it ?

I once had a surreal conversation with a "jobsworth" in the Post Office over a product with batteries in. I wanted to return it because it was faulty.

He wouldn't accept it because it had batteries even though the Post Office delivered it to me. Apparently if they don't know there is a battery inside it is ok but if they know about it, it isn't.

One of the excuses was that if it was x-rayed, it may look like a bomb because of the batteries and wire. So I tell you it has batteries and what it is, then you don't have to worry when it is x-rayed. Ah! but how would we tell ? it could be a bomb disguised as a clock or power tool ...... it went on and on. I thought It was my side of the conversation that had cognitive problems

Actually no, it wasn't batteries, it was Essential Oils. I already have a, water based, Diffuser and these were for a friend- who recently bought something 'similar'.

I suppose that, if they went by air, they might break- due to decompression. Causing.... well actually some lovely fragrant oils, to spill out- onto your clothes. To be honest, I'm 'liking' the sound of that😊. (I suppose there might be, a little damage, to some fabrics but still....)

Maybe the, Sort Of, 'Accident' you would be grateful for?
