Update on compliance interview.

Thankyou to those who replied.

Just wanted to share this do no one else has to worry unnecessarily.

I got a standard letter saying I HAD to attend interview... Looking into my benefits etc etc.

All Xmas I worried about this.

Not about anything ID done...but deep mistrust in benefit system. Had someone not input something??

Anyway.

I had returned to work for 6 weeks whilst my hubby had gone away into respite.

It was emergency respite ..which ended up being 5 months.

I notified carers allowance and pip immediately he went in and benefits were duly stopped.

So I had no income...hence I got s job.unfortunately my knee played up and I ended up on crutches...and I left..

Long story short.

Id done nothing wrong.

They just didn't have the employers address details.

Well. Actually they did.

He pressed a button and said if anyone had gone their job properly they would see it's all there.

This was on the telephone as I called to ask what it was about.

I didn't have to go to interview.

How wrong is this ??

Unfortunately I worry about everything....but I actually calmed down after a few days determined I wasn't going to stress as I knew I'd done nothing.

Do. If you DO get one of these..... don't panic.

Easier said than done.... But it's really not worth it.

Honestly, those services are so full of errors, it's unbelievable.

So true. They tend to wait 'til folk are on their knees before starting to listen. Sorry you were another victim of this ridiculous system. 😕

Wow that's awful to hear just totally ridiculous... I think most involved in benefit systems 'think' they have done something wrong even when you know you haven't... I would. I still get into a panic when I get a letter from them... I think there's so many stories around of how incapable they are. So glad you got it sorted and thanks for sharing. X all the best
