Orange roses.

Hi folks,

I haven't done much drawing recently, I didn't do much drawing at all in December what with christmas and all.

Anyway, I am back to the drawing board... literally... and have just finished this little number.

I actually started off this drawing around 2015/16 but other things got in the way and I ended up forgetting about this one.

But my mum saw what I had drawn and she loved it. She was nagging me for quite some time, when are you going to finish that drawing?

Well now I have finished the drawing and I am not going to tell my mum about the drawing, I am going to get it printed onto a greetings card and surprise her with it on Mother's day :).

I might even add this drawing to my next art display :).

My favourite colour for roses & I'm sure your mum will feel really cherished receiving a bespoke mother's day card !

Maybe another sideline to consider in your career ? xx

When my mum saw the other rose picture of mine she did say that I should draw more pictures of flowers.

I think I will definitely draw a different flower and get it printed for mother’s day.

I found out the other day her favourite flowers are Peonies.

I shall definitely have to draw them :).

Loving the positive intuitive purple contrasting with the healing green and energetic orange. Very uplifting Matt for a Sunday morning, well done. Sure your mum will be tickled pink (orange). Hope you are well and happy.

Best

Thank you H :).

I think the colours look really good.

I am ok thank you :).

I’m doing a lot more yoga every now and then. It’s helping me strengthen my legs and I also have a peddler.

I put it against my wall so that it doesn’t slip away easily. 8 cycle for a heacount of 5 mins every so often. That also helps strengthen my legs.

And of course, I still eat good foods, seeds and grains.

But during December I steer away from my usual healthy diet and am known to eat more of the sugary rubbish. I know that is naughty of me and you notice the difference because you to put on weight and you more easily catch viruses or in other words your immune system drops.

Little bits of 5 minutes often will get you the results you seek with your pin pegs (cockney for legs). Sounds like you enjoyed December, after all its winter and we burn more sugar when its cold and dark. I also ate too much Christmas pudding, but January will remove those extra pounds with a bit of focus on keeping moving.

Keep warm and enjoy the moon eclipse tomorrow (Monday) morning - starting at 2.30am and totality between 04.40 and 5.40am. It might go red which is quite exciting. Not happening again for another 10 years so worth getting up early.

Hope it stays clear for a good view.

Best

I would like to see this moon eclipse but getting up early in the morning!... I'm going to have to hit that one on the head.

I'm not much of a morning person.

Lovely! I took up acrylic painting last year and I really love it. No master of it but I do it for fun and relaxation. I colored before that. I just ordered some watercolor pens so I can sit in my chair and paint without the mess. I can't wait to get them. Keep up the hobby!

Thank you and I certainly will keep it up :).

I don’t do painting, it’s not really my thing. I have done a little painting before but I like to stick to pen/pencil, like you were saying, no mess.

Friends who helped me out with my artyears ago wanted me to have a go at using watercolour paints. I tried but didn’t quite enjoy it. I prefer using watercolour pencils better. Just add some colour, wet it and your done. Bish, bash, bosh :).

I have these paint brushes that are like pens. The nib/brush screws onto a tube/tank that you fill with water. So you don’t have to keep applying paint and then cleaning it in water.
