Hello, this is my first time on here but at the moment I’m open to any ideas. I had benign brain tumour removed three years ago. I am very lucky it wasn’t more serious than this. I pushed to return to ‘normal’, going back to work etc. I’ve tried numerous pain meds but the “thinking” required is causing severe headaches and tiredness. I just don’t know what to do now. I am not coping with this being my new ‘normal’. Any advice?

Pregabalin was prescribed me by my rehab consultant. My GP tried Amitryptilene but that didnt suit.
Its a bit hit and miss im afraid but mine were considered to be migrainous in origin .
I see the consultant every 12 months. Its been 7 years now since my ABI but the pregabalin has allowed me to function much better

Hi. I’m three years on and still get headaches. I have hydrocephalus and a shunt was fitted. CBD oil helps a little
Daily headaches after brain infection. I used topiramate which did a good job of stopping the frequency of the headaches. It needs to build up so it takes quite a while to work. It’s not a cure but I found it helped a lot.
