Hi
I've been out walking my son to school, but the weather has turned cold. I seem to be having headaches is this normal. I had a subarachnoid Hemorrhage in November 2018. I wear a wooly hat when I'm outside. x

Yep, I've had a headache for two days now. I'm blaming it on the present arctic conditions - perishing cold temperature and winds. I stupidly didn't bother with a hat whilst walking the dog and now have a migraine no analgesic can touch. I've resorted to eating curry and chocolate as reward for survival. It's bin tuff!
Living in Cornwall must be tough in winter with the winds. I would drive your son to school until you're more acclimatised to the cold weather.
Hi Chrissy,
Yes, I am also struggling with headaches related to the cold weather! My fracture line really hurts too.. it all feels like an extreme “brain freeze” that you can get when you eat ice cream. I have found that wearing a bobble hat definitely helps too. X
I posted during the week of forgetting my hat whilst on my scooter the other day. Scotland is bitterly cold but it turned so quickly.
Not wearing a hat gave me an ice cream headache feeling. I have felt like I want to walk to the right and feel as though the left side of my head is numb ever since.
I will never drive again. I have written about this before. I almost crashed and have bouts of absence seizures. Having back the ability to drive would be great but I know I would blank out and cause an incident.
We are moving because of my non driving as well as other things.
Good luck with the assesment it is worth it for piece of mind though.
