Twas I! Don't weep for me, my friend. I'm fine, accepted my life loooong ago :) I was simply making the point that only those of us who live with brain injury know what it's REALLY like

Ahhh. Nice to meet you sir!

I think it was that very acceptance that made me cry. Struck a chord, that WE all accept while others question.

I've been SO exhausted and dizzy this last few weeks and had a few falls so thought I'd mention it to my GP during a medication evaluation. He looked like a duck in a thunderstorm ; totally out of his depth. When I said I knew it was all part & parcel of the brain haemorrhage he shook his head....'NO, no, no, It sounds more like a virus or medication problem'...….. :x x

That's progress! My doc assumes absolutely EVERYTHING is brain injury related

I did change Eddie ! ……..that's why I chose to see him as he's new and I hoped he might be different !

Oh well, a different practice perhaps ? But I'm seeing the neuro-consultant next month so I'll wait 'til then & probably get a scan. Thanks for your kind words m'love. Hope you're doing ok. Cat x

Hello Cat,

not been on here for ages and you are right about the Dr's i had a conversation with my neurologist a while back who wasn't that impressed when i told him if he didn't know and other dr's about my brain op i would be treated differently,in other words probably be listened to more.

Hope you get to the bottom of the problem and get listened too!!(**,)x

I haven't been on here for ages and when i watched this it's 100% spot on and needs to be seen by so many people who haven't a bloody clue. The thing is just because from the outside we look ok so everyone thinks or rather doesn't 'think' nothing is wrong

.What pisses me off more than anything is the one's that whinge'i'm tired',i'm thinking you haven't a clue because in general specially at work i don't really keep saying i feel ill, tired, knackered, exhausted, off balance and have found it's the negative one's who are the whingers(non brain injury) and on many occasions have told them to shut up and get on with it,keeps them off my back anyway....lol

Precisely why I'd love the clip to be shared by as many folk as possible, but as usual, it won't even scratch the surface. Folk just aren't interested in what can't be seen and can be easily disregarded. No surprise the DWP and MPs fail to sit up and listen really.
