People in my situation

I’m a 32 year old female who has had a brain injury for 16 years on the 8th November and I’m trying to find people to connect with for friendship and socialising as I struggle to find anyone similar problems to me as the only support network I can find is headway so although I attend social meetings once a month this isn’t enough does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Welcome D. This is where I come for a daily fix of 'Belonging'. Hope you find some extra social venues ; maybe give your general location for ideas from anyone in your area. Cat x

Hey DirtyD, I go to a local Headway meeting twice a month and I have a bit of a chat on this site. That seems to give me enough of a 'Brain Injury Fix'. I still feel like I should socialise more but I seem to have lost the energy and the knack.
