I wondered when this was coming to the market and now finally its here! A virtual experience on how we 'see' the world in the acute stages of brain injury. It's a start and should be rolled out to all gp's, neuro experts and all people involved in managing neuro injuries.....pronto!!

Let me know if you're unable to read by clicking on the link, as then I'll cut and paste the whole thang!

Now all we need is a VR headset to remind us how a healthy brain sees the world....again. Instead of an ever so slightly warped, dampened, swimmy impression, and a whole hog of cognitive dysfunctions.

Is that it? Just an animated irritating example of a VR. Just unbelievably annoying to watch. It gives no clue whatsoever how a brain injury feels - I thought technology was more advanced than this.

I have looked into this a bit further. It needs an App called Occulus. You need to open an account (I didn’t have to provide bank details) then the ‘Is Anna Ok?’ program can be downloaded free. However it needs a VR headset to run which I don’t have so can’t see how the full version works. Maybe the techies out there will be able to give a view :0)

Yes, I was just getting into it when it came to a stop. Let's hope someone can come up with ideas ; I don't have any special tech gadgets apart from my laptop either. 🤔
