Had a episode ystrdy.but then threatned to kill me.police arrested him.dr at police said he was too unstable to interviewmbut noone else the mntal hosp or anyone would take him.cos if your arrested the police cannot then section you.so my choice was ave him bk home or thy wld just put him out on the street.my dghtr rining everyone we can think of .so bk to just hope he dnt go too far today.if he does the police will thn not arrest him but section him.thnks fr listening to my moaning.xx

He has appointmnt with physciatrist on 11th march.seen his dr but was told all dr can do is give him tablets which he already has.he gt wound up earlier today but i managed to give him a tablet n he calmed down.he has just started snoring so sleeping tabs are working .so now im gnna get some sleep.thnks for your replys .

I've never heard that Ricozoe. I worked for the Probation service years ago and it was commonplace for offenders to be sectioned after arrest for the protection of themselves and others.

It sounds like your son needs hospitalisation if only to allow you some respite, but also to monitor him more closely and treat him more appropriately rather than leaving everything to you and his GP.

I'm sorry to hear of all your additional troubles m'love. Hope you managed some sleep at least. Cat xx

Thnku cat.gt night sleep.hes ok at the moment.im shatterd.weve been in touch with loads of services from drs .social services.mind.mental health crisis.the police ave been helpful.but the rest of them are a joke.social services were supposed to ring bk but avnt.hes gt a support wrker who the dr got fr him.but was told yeaterday she is a housing n employment worker.so she cant do anything.and to be honest shes never realy done anything.but at least on 11th he will see physciatrist who should know what they are doin.and hopefuly hel get the help he needs.x

Thnks cat x.my dghtr has been great help.shes sat ere through the nights wen its been realy bad.she had him fr few hours last sat.but as this time when he started it was too violent for him to go to her house as my 2 grndaughters are still young.it started againe today .but i could see it coming so gave him a diazapam.which took a while but clmed him down. By 10pm tonight he should be goin to sleep as he gt 3 tabs to take.1 at 6.1 at 9 .n1 at 9.30 which is a sleeping tab.xx

Such a big challenge for you m'dear and a shame you're missing out on a more relaxed mum & son relationship. Roll on the 11th ; I hope the psychiatrist can come up with something to make life a little bit easier for all of you. xxx

giving that sort of prn shouldnt be down to you, thats the sort of medication we used to give to adults with learning disabilities with, like your son, severe challenging behaviour, but we knew how to deal with it and we werent alone.
