2019 will be a rougher year

In short, my medication has been upped from 50mg to 100mg, my erratic anger is a medication side effect, my gp has zero explanation about this numbness where my injury is that moves around my skull/face and Im not being referred to HITU while I wait for BIRU as suggested by HBW so I and everyone else has to suck up my attitude and I may have to go back to HR/OH/Trade union and explain to everything to them for more protection

I’m so sorry you feel you are going to have a rough 2019. I too have numbness in my face which drives me crazy. My consultant ,who I saw last week , said that it’s the aneurysm pressing on the nerve which works the right side of face hence the eye won’t close and feel I have been to the dentist every day . Very dizzy and can’t focus properly . He has no idea what to do but I’ll have an MRI in feb/march and he hopes it will have shrunk a bit and releases the pressure. Fingers crossed for both of us . I sometimes think “ was it worth it “ . Try and have a nice Christmas 🎄

I’ll be having two boiled eggs as I still can’t taste anything nice .lol

thanks, I brought the new note 9 to cheer myself up, HWB said I can get a 2nd referral to another dr as I refuse to go on 100mg and they have sent me some infor that I can use

Hello Bexx, if you don't mind me asking , what medication is it as it sounds horrible, I think if you are suffering badly on 50mg then going up to 100 is not a good idea at all.

Is this a fairly new Med that they have tried you on? Over the years I have tried many Meds and came off them when the side effects were worse than my condition they were treating! Trouble is Doctors have no clue about TBI so just fling various AD's at you during your 10 minute appt. I would like to see Neuropshcyciatrists being more ready available for someone with a TBI but in my area it is nigh impossible to get referred to one.
