I swear there are gremlins in the web broswers tonight I just loaded my bank web page and got a web page that said things like
retail_credentails_public_login_subtitle in chrome, loaded it in firefox, it momentarily displayed the same as chrome but reverted to the normal page

Woah there Bex, it looks like the IT fairy is looking for milk and cookies before it works properly for you. (Fave phrase when thinking or working requires the assistance of IT - Aaaand Reeelaxxxxx) the main reason is this annoys computers (as an entity) because they cannot fulfil their primary purpose of winding the user (us) up.
We all know that computers were created by humans to make our lives easier, in the same way that robots were, and yet they have both spawned massive entertainment industries of films where the computers and robots 'take out the middleman', by realising that humans are both weak and inefficient (which is true) however the human vision of the future of destruction and general Orwellian 'bad times await us all' is seen from a creator point of view. Following the computer/ robot seeing the human weak and inefficient it follows that the computer or robot would not waste their own resources to kill off the humans as it is far more efficient to let the humans do that themselves.
The above paragraph explains why there will never be an overt war with the robots, however, I am sure that robots and computers like to carry out psychological tests on us based on the information we have given them (strength of key stroke = the more determined/ harder a key is pressed could indicate how cross the user is - primary/ secondary/ tertiary languages - how far can the computer go in 'winding the user up' and so on) bizarrely, computers can only 'wind us up' as they become 'self aware' of both their limitations and abilities - these skills are taught to the computer by the programmer.
As long as we remember that computers want to experiment (psychologically) as opposed to kill us, we will be fine. And if we can relax when using them, they cannot fulfil the primary winding up/ experimentation purpose, which means we are masters over the machines.
