If you are using meditation, would you mind passing on any recommendations for what to use? Thanks

Meditation π§πΌββοΈ
The best one i have ever dine is by James Swartz of ShiningWorld.com.
Iβm a carer for my OH and have found Headspace app to be extremely useful - the calmer I am, the better we cope together. Hoping to use with my OH who is early in the recovery stages after a TBI (just over 3 months).
I find a few good ones in hypnosis and meditation for free on Amazon Music. The nice thing about free is that if you don't like the voice, you can just delete it from your play list. With being sensitive to sounds, if the voice annoys you, it certainly won't put you into a relaxed/meditative state. I like this one woman's voice called Lina Grace, if that helps. Good luck! I have a weight loss hypnosis one I actually laid for and her voice is nice. Her name is Kristin Von Funk. But I think it was about $10 if I remember right. I was lucky that her voice is nice.
Good luck, hope this helps a little. I really like hypnosis/meditation too help with falling asleep. And free is definitely a good thing. LOL

I found the 'Headspace' app to be extremely valuable and one of the only practices I found to cope with normal life. I still use it now, a year after my head injury. It allows me to feel like my brain can stop crashing into the sides of my skull within about 10 minutes of using the basic programme of the headspace app. I repeated the first 10 sessions as I it moved too fast at the time. Tara Brach also offers meditation sessions on her Podcasts.
I use a free app called Insight Timer. It has hundreds of meditations of all different kinds, and many different 'teachers', so you can choose ones which suit you best.
