Hi all,

Struggling again, bf came house 2 months ago from hospital after hypoxic brain injury, anyway long story short we have just moved due to financial necessity which I know was too soon but no other option. Anyway bf is struggling with the new place and today seems really down, I can't take too much time off work to support and his family are unavailable at the moment, does anyone have any ideas of what I can do to help him adapt and feel comfortable in the new space? I know time is going to be a big thing but I was wondering if there was anything else.

First suggestion is ring the Headway helpline.

If he is confused by the new layout you could put notes or pictures on doors to help him navigate his way around.

Having some of his favourite things or treasured possessions in prominent positions might help him feel more connected to the space.

Not sure what else to suggest.
