I had a doctors appointment for a blood test yesterday morning.

It was a beautiful morning, so rather than drive straight there -it’s only a five minute journey - I decided to pop into the local coffee shop for an americano and a croissant on the way. I then drove myself round the village just to get some practice, but to be honest this made me a little anxious.

I felt whacked for the rest of the day, light headed and a little dizzy when standing up, but I figure it was worth it just for the experience of sitting in that cafe with the sun streaming through the window and the incredible taste of that almond croissant!

I’m finding that I can mediate again too.....I think this is really helping me to conserve energy and make the most of what I have.

Progress in baby steps.

I found it SUCH a relief to be cleared for driving again, and my first outing was around the grounds of a stately home on a summer evening. Your brain could've been a bit overwhelmed from the extra concentration and the apprehension, but I'm sure it'll get less demanding once it becomes routine again.

Funnily enough I'm just off to the village of my birth to have coffee & cake with my sister-in-law ! 😊 xx
