I should be sleeping but I wanted to say a few words! I think I'll be back home in 2 days. I've gotten really good with surgeries! I was planning to be in bed now, but uploaded video on youtube & linked it in my blog was exciting. I can't eat or drink past midnight. I'm good. I wanna talk my sister into video taping me out of surgery....

Believe me, I'm usually terribly shy! I was mugged & I don't ever want anyone to go through what I've been through. If people are injured, I hope they thrive, meet & connect like you wonderful folk in Headway's online forum. It is 812PM where I am(San Antonio, TX). I'll say hi as quick as possible after I get my peek prosthetic. Take courage from me! You all are dears & wonderful to read your thoughts & occasionally see your faces. Even some posts that you authors here mightn't expect, well I treasure reading them... I've found solace here. Really shy... really, really, very shy. Have a wonderful week.

I just wanted to update: I am home; starting to feel calm and relaxed. I have to wait 7 days before they remove my staples, which is absolutely nothing compared to the 7 months I just spent in helmet. Oh, helmet - how I treasure that thing! I am walking everywhere. The halls in my house are mine to traverse once again! M head is the slightest bit puffy rounding the outside of my eye. I was held an extra 24 hours because blood drainage balls were slow to fill. I can see myself coming to forget my long stretch of bone-flapless days and thinking I'm back in my old head again pretty soon! Thanks all, thanks for being the vibrant, cheerful community that surprises and delights those like me! I wouldnt even have built my personal blog if I hadn't come across a great example here. I'm sleepy,but wanted to say 'stay strong y'all'!
