Hi fredikins,

We do still offer some activities in the area, you can find out more at headway.org.uk/supporting-y...

Hopefully this will be useful to you and get you the support you need, but you can also contact our helpline on 0808 800 2244 or helpline@headway.org.uk if you need to talk things through.

Best wishes,

Headway

I will be moving down to Dorset soon from London. I will have a look at this as well.

Hi Fred,

I was going to suggest this in the other comment we were talking in but through Portsmouth Headway we are now connected to another charity called Brain Tumour Support and on the second Thursday of each month there is a session/meeting.

The charity cover the south west and midlands and I’ve got the feeling there is a meeting in Poole, but don’t quote me on that one :).

If there is one there or one nearer to you, you might be interested.

And same for any other people who have had a brain tumour, look into Brain Tumour Support.

There is also another charity called The Brain Tumour Charity but I don’t know what they are like but I do know that Edinburgh Woollen Mill did some fundraising for them because my auntie works in the Gosport branch.

Gosport is where I live, by the way. And Portsmouth, the city next to it, is where the Headway offices are.

Hi everyone,

There is a Headway in Dorset. A lovely chap called Adrian runs it. If you need his contact information I will let you know. I've been once and they are a lovely group and meet in Poole and the surrounding areas weekly or more running activities too.

Hope this helps.

Maria

Perhaps you'd mention my name (Frederick Gregory) to that "lovely chap called Adrian" next time you see him, he was supposed to call me after Christmas, its now Easter.

Hi Fredikins, goodness knows what's happened. He hasn't replied to me for a while either. Let's hope that he is okay.

Perhaps one of us could contact him, or maybe Headway would know??

Let's do it Fredikins. I've got his other email address so will drop him a line in a jiffy. I'll keep you posted. All toes crossed.

I was hoping you would say that oceanm, I lack all motivation at the mo'.

Awwwww bless you Fredikins (btw hope that's okay to call you that, as I wasn't sure if you'd prefer simple plain Fred :) ) ... of course it's okay to help. But I'm sad that you lack motivation at the moment. Anything you want to talk about, just shout. Hope you get some Easter mojo coming your way soon.

Less of the "simple plain" if you don't mind lol, Fred is fine oceanm.
