I popped in my local GPs this morning and, as promised. a letter had been written by her to help with my appeals.

It explained how i get MENTALLY tired and i cant do as well as i used to. How i get anxious, agitated etc.

(at 2am this morning i was ringing the job centre to tell them ill be late. Its on my mind all the time

Im seeing my MP on Friday with the boss of the foodbank i volunteer at.

I think the only thing i can do after that is offer my pound of flesh

You're doing the right thing, getting everything in place. Anything that backs your case and shows the idiots in charge that you are a genuine case will do you no harm at all.

Good luck

You know Spidey I was told by the DWP people that consultants and doctors are not qualified to say whether a person is fit to work or not!!! They can explain your condition etc etc but they are not able to give an accurate assessment on fitness for work !!!!!!

What utter rot, but they then went on to say in effect such letters are not taken into account.

I hope that this is not the case, as Andy says get as much info as you can. When I attended my appeal I went armed to the teeth but found I didn't need it because as I entered the room they said don't worry we've already decided to overturn the previous decision. So we had a chat for a few minutes just for appearances sake before I left.

Would that they were all like that.

Best Wishes

Janet xx

I had a similar problem and after my classes was stopped I eventually found a wonderful woman in Citizins Advice who helped me fill in the form again. This time I got it. You just need someone who is used to the forms and how to fill them in. It is very unfair but you need to know the right words to use.

Good luck
