Hi, well my first morning at work was a thumbs up from me, I loved being back. Yes it was a little bit more noisy than I am used to but I was fine. I was so glad to see other people and talk to people all day, even the children were amazing to me. I was tired when I got home the 4 hours later and I had a headache but one paracetamol helped clear that as did my sleep that I had. Everyone said it was good to have me back, and told me to definitely not over do anything. Just being an "extra member of staff" rather than the shift member meant I could leave the room whenever I wanted too. I had no problems at all. I am looking forward to my Tuesday morning next week. Thank you for all your messages and good wishes. π π xx

So encouraged to hear about people going back to work, and loving it. Thanks so much for posting. Well done.
Thank you. I'm glad I had a fantastic morning as I had tried everyday to get a better person and achieve everything that all my appointments had given me. It helped me and worked. I still try and help myself everyday by still doing wordsearches, online training, reading books and exercises. It's definitely helping me cope and understand with a lot of things.
It is lovely to hear about your experience.
I have been trying to work (I work from home) for a while now, and lately that has got a bit better. I have more energy in the mornings. I am progressively tackling more and more complex tasks, and I try to ration myself with what I look at.
Yes, it is a weird way of working, but in the event, it all does seem to get done. One of the areas which I covered is being taken away from me, and farmed out to consultants - glad about that. But other stuff I can cope with, little by little. It is really heartening, if I sit and think about how far I have come. I tend to get nervous about sitting down at my desk, and it was so uplifting to read your post about having a 'fantastic' morning.
Keep at it. It does get better little by little. I've been doing it for about 5 months.
I have had relapses. But the thing about that is, they are further and further apart. That is the thing to focus on.
And carry on doing your wordsearches and reading. It wasn't until last month that I actually read a book. Felt so good, I can't tell you.
Good luck. You WILL do it, if you keep at it.
