Hi, hang on in there. I honestly think that no one realises just how difficult living day day with a brain injury.
I never realised, not that I had ever encountered anyone living with a BI until I got mine.
Every day is a battle, the smallest things can become so difficult to achieve.
We just bought a new bookcase for me and my husband put it together for me leaving the placing of the shelves for me to do. I thought that would be no problem but I couldn't manipulate the little lug things into the holes and even if I could have done that I didn't have the strength to push them home!!!!!
Such frustrations, I bet you really value those 2 hours you volunteer, and then go home exhausted.
My heart goes out to you. I am retired now so no longer have that battle to face.
