Am wondering if anyone can give me some advice. I suffered a concussion last November, hit by a train door. Since then been struggling with PCs but by far the worst symptom is the fatigue, off the scale.I tried to have a weekend away in London but have spent most of the time asleep.
My GP arranged an appointment with a neuro psychologist to assess cognitive damage but I am really worried I will not be able to complete the test as it is two and a half hours long. Has anyone had this test? Even at the initial assessment I was struggling to answer questions after about forty minutes.

Try to get a good nights sleep the night before. Dress in light layers so you won't be uncomfortable...not too hot or too cold. Good luck. As Kirk states if a problem it will be an indication, try not to stress about it , good intentions🙂
Hi, try to write down as much as information as you can about you symptoms and any questions you need answers to before you go, and include that the length of the test may be to much for you, give it to the assessor, make copies if you can to aid you in future appointments, dont go alone if you can help it, do you have a supporting partner or relative or friend to go with you, to act as an advocate to help you say what you need to say ?, you only have to give them your permission, i wish you all the best, kind regards, karen
Yes, I have had one done. Just go and do what you can. It's not a pass fail thing, it's more about finding out where you're at. If you aren't able to complete it, don't worry about that. It certainly isn't a measurement of your value as a person. It is only a measurement of your current abilities being measured by the testing. Good luck in going through the testing.
