I had meningitis in December 2014 and in April 2016 i was diagnosed with arthritis in right side of collar bone and neuralgia in my right side of face. I am on gabepentine once a day and carbamazepine 300mg once a day as i feel woozy if i take more and i still suffer with (what i call) face attacks. I have 4 dependants. How do others cope ? I have about 3/4 a day.

Not sure if this is the most helpful site for you as it is for those with a brain injury. However, I do know that there are some conditions that people seem to develop after Meningitis but the link has never been researched and established. It maybe that even if you didn't have Meningitis you would have developed neuralgia because it's a condition that's not that uncommon. Is there not a neuralgia forum on healthunlocked??
