I don't think it's going to pan out

Lacrosse I mean. I'm doing a new year at uni, and I've got to play like 3-4 games on Wednesday, each lasting around an hour.

It's really getting on my nerves, I want to fill my time with stuff, but I can't do the stuff that I want.

I assume it's fatigue that's the issue? And I assume this is mental rather than physical as such? If so hopefully it would pick up quite quickly.

I still find brain work exhausted, 6hrs of office work and frankly fit only to fall into bed, but 6hrs bike ride over a number of mountains, fine no problem.

I find a mix of brain work and physical activity interspersed throughout the day works best for me if I need to be productive over a period of time...so when my brain aches from effort I switch to something I can do without too much thinking. Its amazing how many things can get ticked off a to-do list that way ;)

Why so many games in one day Ben ? Even trained athletes would be knackered after 3/4 hours of lacrosse. :o

Thinking that maybe you could go to training and maybe be a sub, play a while and rest a while, it's a way of getting the best of both worlds. It will take a while for you to get up to speed I would think, it took me a long time to get my speed endurance and stamina back after spinal injuries had me out of hockey for 5 yrs. I only did training twice a week and after 7 months or so I subbed, after 9 months I did a half game and at a year I was able to play a full game.

I know that you just wanted to step back in but even without a brain injury affecting speed reaction times and stamina please take what you can and do get back at your own speed :)

Or take up swimming! Or teak won do, there is something you can do.
