Anyone feel things happen for a reason and things that happen are meant to happen?

Been talking to a woman who's brother had BI15 years ago and she got on about following a certain like path. Things happening for a reason and things being meant to happen. She said how she had a feeling something bad was going to happen to her brother the day he fell off a truck and got BI. She also said her brother knew something bad would happen but let it happen cos he felt it was supposed to happen and knew he'd be ok. Anyone else experience this?

Hello keeley, I had coils and stents inserted into my aneurysm five years ago, I was eager to have the surgery and was confident things would be OK. Last year it was found the aneurysm was bulging, this time I felt very different, I had a feeling it would rupture this time, I wrote goodbye letters to my children to be opened on my death, and was very apprehensive. The aneurysm ruptured before I could have surgery and although the docs said it would be catastrophic and was a significant bleed, I have recovered well. So I am a great believer in fate, and things happen for a reason, love Alice xx

Not really, realistically like i'm sure many if I could roll back to V1 i'd do it with out a thought, i'm cynical by nature and fate as idea has never really done it for me, but if it does for you, great!

Fate, luck even belief in a superior being are interesting topics that people with better brains than us have been deliberating for several millennia.

There are plenty of stories where people have had feeling that something is going to happen and then it does and also people whom don't normally buy a lottery ticket suddenly get the urge and then win.

Likewise there are freak accidents that people walk away from unscathed or minor incidents where someone is sadly killed.

I try not to spend too much time dwelling either way but follow some simple philosophical sayings like Oogway the grand master in the film Kung Fu Panda. His favourite is "There are no accidents." and "yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present"

I definitely believe everything happens for a reason whether good or bad ...in fact it's my motto.
