Thats a dark old place to be in, very sorry to hear, though best of luck for baby.

How very sad for your friend and their family. No wonder you are feeling down. Make sure you talk to someone about how you feel, don't bottle it up.

Do hope all goes well in the baby making department!

Some studies have shown that people feel better after they've been outside enjoying nature. Also it gives us a chance to feel thankful and blessed that God has made such a wonderful world in spite of evils like murder.

First I'm very sorry for the loss of your friend. That has got to be very hard for you. This may sound weird - however here are some things you can do to help get out of the down feeling (chose the one or ones that you feel you can do): 1.Listen to soothing music 2. If you are able go for a mild walk outdoors 3. Do some light yard work 4. Do some simple puzzles 5. Lie on the floor 6. Count to 10 as fast as possible repetitively 7. Say the alphabet backwards 8. light fiction reading. Then if you feel you can, do a creative project, or watch or do something that makes you laugh or watch comedy, or do things with you non-dominant hand. What these things do is make your brain produce more serotonin and dopamine so you can feel better naturally. There are more steps after this if you are interested. I'm not selling anything, I'm just sharing what I've learned. I hope this is of value for you.

That's great! I find when I do more of what I love to do it helps me feel better too. I wish you peace and comfort.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. A period of mourning is entirely natural and you are bound to feel down. Why don't you try listing all the special times you are your friend had and maybe going to a special place you liked? I'm sure the depression will pass and you will eventually start to feel better. Trying for a baby can be a very stressful time, particularly if nothing seems to be happening yet. Why not put it on hold for a couple of months until you feel more able to cope? Best wishes.
