White Feather

It makes me feel quite special when I see a white feather randomly appear in my room. I always see it as a sign or someone looking over me . It also gives me a huge boost to my day and a great big smile ! Happy #saturdaymorning everyone and remember if that feather is just there it's special for you.

Morning! Think it's a Saturday tho

If I see feathers it can be that my cats have brought it in but yes, on a less prosaic note, there are angels out there, you just have to look out for them. I reckon that after a BI you are more tuned in to the world in many ways and see subtle signs that others miss. I take any tiny blessing and hold it tight - it gets you through the next bout of stress, fatigue, pain. Yes, and nurses are called Angels- for very good reason- sure we all had at least one very special one.

Someone mentioned white feathers to me a while back. I can't remember who it was or what point they were putting across. Soon after I was reading an article in the paper about the author Paul Coelho. I haven't read any of his books yet but believe they are of a spiritual nature. He says:

"If I see a white feather today, it will mean to me as a God’s sign for me to write a new book."

Shortly after this I was walking down the street and spotted a loan white feather on the ground.

Perhaps it means that many of us do not see what is in front of us but opportunities and possibilities are there for the taking, if only we can see the feathers and other symbols.

Maybe your mind is so tuned into the present moment, not worrying about tomorrow or fretting about yesterday, that you notice and what you see means something significant to you.

I've had a few white feathers, but also phantom smells, I know my mother has visited me and my aunt, my mother rolled her own cigarettes and every once in a while there's a strong smell of tobacco but only in the room I'm in, its comforting to know she is around me as I still miss her

I have white feathers too, and find them very comforting, knowing someone is with me, I have also had the most amazing smell of a bouquet of flowers, in a very unexpected place, I stood still, savoured them and thanked whoever for the wonderful gift
