Petition to Investigate ATOS PIP Assessments

Please sign and share widely, they urgently need 100,000 signatures by the 5th September for this to be taken further by parliament. When you sign, you'll receive a link in your email you must click in order for your vote to be counted. As someone who's been on the receiving end of an unfair PIP assessment I have firsthand experience of how unfairly rigged the whole assessment process is against people, especially those with hidden brain injuries.

If this doesn't get the required signatures it will be a travesty.

I don't think so, it's a good start. What they and politicians don't like is knowing that the public know about their unfair practices. You just have to keep trying and spread the word.

I don't know, but they're now known as Independent Assessment Services.

in reply tolcd8

Means they don't give a toss about giving people fair medicals

In my professional field of computing it stands for:

Autonomous Decentralized Transport Operation Control System or ATOS is a computerized control system used by the East Japan Railway Company to regulate train traffic on railway lines in metropolitan Tokyo, Japan. Hitachi designed ATOS

This is why i get confused lolz

Hi Barny1, what will happen if you do not get 100,000 signatures by that date, does all the signatures become void, or can you continue onwards and present it at a later date, why does it have to be done by a certain date which is in a few days time...... have you put this petition on social media platforms?

Thanks barny1

All petitions run for 6 months, but there may have been an issue with the parliament being suspended next week and the date brought forward. If you achieve at least 100,000 signatures it will be considered in parliament. The petition will end on the 5th Sept, but anyone can start a new petition, I anticipate there being another petition like it in future. Only on healthunlocked - headway, I've asked benefitsandwork.co.uk to place it on their forum but they haven't replied.
