Yes, you'll have some sore headaches for a while after the coiling but they do subside over time ; keep taking the pain killers to minimise any inflammation,

So pleased you'll be heading home soon. Rest plenty and eat well afterwards, and don't be tempted to prove you're 'fine' to yourself or anyone else ; healing is a long process so look after yourself ! ;-) xx

The RVH has had a good reputation for years.

I'm so glad everything went well.

Now you can do yourself and me a favour and stop being so very NI and putting yourself down.

Look after yourself and please let us know what rehab is like and what support you get post op.

Love n hugs

James I didn't mean to upset you.

I am Northern Irish myself and am only just beginning to learn that a lot of our expressions are quite negative.

You have every right to be proud of our wonderful country and more importantly proud that you have successfully come through major surgery.

Love n hugs

Just keep taking the tablets, James! I had horrible headaches after my procedure in the summer - started about 3 hours after I came round with a full aura migraine and got repeatedly clonked thereafter for about 2-3 weeks. Thought it was never going to give up...but they sent me home with some codeone as well as the usual painkillers and whilst I am usually anti-meds for heads (else I would be popping them all the time) on the advice of the ward sister I kept to the written dose and eventually it started to subside.

Sending you blessings for a steady recovery. Take special care of yourself - someone's been fiddling inside your brainbox and that's a major deal - even though all you may have to show for it is a sore head and groin incision!

Hi James so glad you are on the mend. I'm still waiting for a date for the coiling.

Take care
