Jules you're at it again with the "just"!

Talking jellyfish though I watched a programme recently about jellyfish and the researchers have proved that they learn.

Amazing isn't it? No brain but a small neural net and they quickly learned to negotiate a maze.

Imagine what you and I are capable of with our brains even if the are dodgy.

I like jellyfish- I know they're supposed to be lethal but I feel sorry for them when I see a blob on the beach- that is it, that's all they've got! Maybe an easy life?

I wonder, do they have a sense of self - soul, whatever you want to call it. How can it accomplish getting through a maze and not have. If its that it just doesnt then thats a bit like a robot like Terminator.

Oh dear, I had better stop thinking about it !

I know they're fascinating, just lying about on the beach with some form of protectiveness ready to sting the hell out of someones foot!!! Watch where you're treading! The maze stuff means they must have something more going on than a robot I think
