Hi Kieran. I see there's nothing about you on your profile page, so maybe you'd like to tell us a bit about yourself and what brought you here.
I had a brain haemorrhage 5 years ago, leaving me with various issues including a short term memory problem, headaches, poor balance & a very short fuse.
It'd be interesting to hear your story. Regards,Cat x
Welcome Keiran, nice to meet you. Everyone here is very friendly and always willing to help anyone who has a problem. Well done for the degree, have you managed to find a job yet? I know it can be hard these days, even for graduates.
Jan
Hi Jan. No I'm not working at the minute but I have spent the last year writing a graphic novel, manipulating the skills I've acquired from college. I'm up to 168 pages now, so once I've finished I'll be scoping out publishers x
Wow, that sounds impressive. Well done!
Hi Kieran and welcome. Nic pic and a drummer eh, lol. I love reading so I admire your commitment to writing a novel! I am reading Jack Higgins about a man in Second World War who is secret agent posing as a SS German officer for England and his story of embarking with his French mistress to gather evidence. I am finding It exciting, but confusing with all different characters, but I will get there, just a bit of re-reading lo.
I sustained a TBI 5 years ago, which has resulted in left sided weakness and spascitity, fatigue and cognitive issues.
Hello and welcome Keiran, your graphic novel sounds interesting. What is the story about?
Echo the welcomes,
I have always been amazed in the way that so many people with such a wide range of issues can come together to create a cohesive supportive forum with very little friction.
