There are several specialist companies who deal with long term medical problems. Look online under medical travel insurance.

Also check the Headway website. I'm fairly sure that there is a list of insurers.

Yes insure and go I recently did one for my hubby Lots of questions to answer on the medical screening part but worth it as their pricing is good

Boots cover me since cvst in 2014.....most others wouldn't. Good luck....happy travelling! Currently in India..... ☺
