My fury kid (mini fox terrier x) and I often go for a walk through my local cemetery. It is perfect as it is quiet and I enjoy reading the headstones about people's past. Artie my fury kid, often becomes quite animated and starts to do a happy little doggy dance during these quiet strolls.
I often think that we both 'spring to life' when walking amongst the peaceful environment. Strange indeed.

Just read your post to me and your 'strange' one. Odd that isn't it.
I dont know what i believe happens when we depart, but there is definitely a sensation of something when you walk through a cemetery (fir me anyway).
That feeling of springing to life for you reminded me of when i have been in church as a child - i always had a really bad urge to run around and cause havoc.
Today now i am older i stick to cinemas where i have a deep urge to throw popcorn at peoples heads in the dark - just playful (but very childish i know !)

Regarding your popcorn throwing urge...maybe it would be OK to do it if people in the cinema are being disruptive! One of my friends, years ago disclosed to me that at her serious work place, she sometimes had an urge to climb onto the canteen table at lunchtime and do a tap dance! Prior to my brain injury, I had a warped sense of humour and I suspect it has become even more warped, in a good way as it does indeed help to look at life these days with a dose of humour.Claire xx
