Probably all my life which is about 30 years :). Well, I have always had a passion for drawing but over the past 4-5 years my art haas improved a lot.

I do not know the in and outs of pic of Andys family and not my place to judged, but you are talented, and you may feel as its all for nothing, but I enjoyed the pic . Keep going Matt

Thank you very much Sem :), that's kind of you to say. The picture doesn't look exactly like Andy's family but they have been caricaturised so they wouldn't look accurate but I think it looks brilliant even if I do say so myself :).

Andy loves it and so does his wife too, apparently, but his kids are fussy about it.

Don't be offended as young children do not understand and appreciate the humour of caricatures and at there age see themselves as looking like princes and princesses. If you can think yourself to see through a child's eye you may understand why the kids are upset by it. That has no reflection on your talent but I can understand your annoyance and disappointment when you spent time doing something that you expected them to appreciate. Definately not wasted as you get to keep it for your portfolio and Andy & Co know what a good friend you are for wanting to do something for them.

Hi Caroline,

I'm not too offended but just feel as if I have wasted time really. I said to him that I always felt people might get offended seeing themselves as a caricature and Andy told me that his family won't be offended. it turns out that his family are offended.

I'm sorry, but I never said anyone was offended by it, I just said that the kids weren't too keen and that's it. I'm not keen on One Direction but they don't offend me

You didn't waste your time at all, I simply said that there was no point in sending it to us as it wouldn't be fully appreciated by all of the family. I thought you deserved the truth rather than lie to you and waste your time posting it on.
