We need your help to find out how the Work Capability Assessment (WCA) is working for people with a brain injury.
The WCA forms the basis of the application and review process for Employment and Support Allowance (ESA), which is paid to people who cannot work or have difficulty working because of a medical condition or disability.
With the fifth and final independent review of the WCA currently in progress, we have launched another survey to look at how the assessment is currently working, and how it has changed over the last three years.
Survey
If you, your close relative or the person your care for claims ESA, please complete our survey using the link below.
The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete. It asks questions relating to your experiences of the WCA, and for people who have had multiple assessments, how it has changed following previous reviews. It also looks into other aspects of the benefit such as the appeals process and the work-related activity group.
