Have you seen Recovery?

It's a 2007 BBC drama starring David Tennant as a TBI sufferer. Only found out about it the other day, managed to see it and though hard to watch in places thought it was great.

Good, certianly touched on most of the issues. Even as someone who's injoury was as these things go minor, I recognised myself and my wife at times.

Hi,

If anyone needs a DVD of the programme we have limited copies to send out. Send me an email to website@headway.org.uk with your address and I can post one to you - a small donation to Headway would be appreciated to cover the cost, but is certainly not required.

Best wishes,

Andrew

Just excellent. What a brilliant depiction of brain injury and all the associated issues. The whole production, storyline & acting were faultless and very moving. Thank you for alerting us to this drama.............I hope others respond also because many here will find lots to identify with. Even going back to 2007, before my BI, I would have been drawn to such a drama so I cannot for the life of me understand how I missed it at the time.

So thank you again James for the alert (feeling quite drained now !)

PS It's too old for BBCi (I hadn't realised it was screened so long ago) but got the whole thing, uninterrupted, on UTube.

Well that was an emotional thing to watch some bits too close to home. Glad I watched it alone don't think I could sit through it with the family.

it is probably one of the best "head injury" programs I have seen so far
