I can understand how u feel.its been year and half since hubby had his brain injury,most if time its like living with a stranger,specially with his loss of temper over silly things,xx

oh I ask myself this question many times. It is the hardest thing to happen isn't it. To lose someone but not actually lose them....I know you know what I mean.

I have a different love for my husband now. Even then that is often difficult at those really bad moments when all you want is the love of your life back telling you it is all going to be okay?

I posted something on here some time back called 'my husband... my stranger' and it is still very true. I am generally a positive person and my glass his half full and I remind myself how far he has come, how he less than a 3% chance of ever waking up..but he did and he's home and our daughter has her daddy, etc. The glass is half empty version is different....I am starting forget who he was, only who he is now and there is very little that resembles the man I fell in love with.

I think it takes time to work out how to make it all work.......
