Hello,My son has a Hyphoxic Brian injury and is going to the Royal Neurological College London for rehabilitation in October 2013 we live in Medway North Kent can l get any assistance with travel expenses so we can visit him more often.

Thank you for your post. At Headway we do run the Emergency Fund, which is designed to help families cope with the practical implications of a brain injury.

Each application is considered individually, taking the family's circumstances into account.

i feel sure you should receive something especially if your local nhs trust cant treat him have you tried your mp or local citizens advice bureau good luck but rest assured having known a friend / fellow patient i was in hospital with who was transferred there he is in the very best of hands i was due to go there to their transitional living uniut i went to look around asnd wasvery impressed more so my son whowas to only so he could trash me on their playstation neil
