I am so worried so since he had his accident! He was fine after bumping the back of his head today and had had no other symptoms but how do I know he hasn't started to bleed internally again?!?!

It's difficult to comment without knowing the extent of the 'bump'. ( slight/heavy bump?......hard/soft surface ? I think if there's any doubt about the severity you should take him to A&E first thing tomorrow. I know I would.

Hi thanks he is fine this morning but we're still going x yeah sorry it's so hard for other's to judge! I have been so worried since my sons accident! He had a decompressed fracture with what the doctors called a sizable bleed on the brain. We went to our Local A&E dept and it took 13 hours to decide how bad his injuries were and had to be blue lighted to another hospital x I am just hypersensitive to anything now and we came so close to losing him that I have been a nervous wreck since! I just found this site last night maybe it will be a good place to sound off x

I doubt there'll be a problem but It just isn't worth the risk. x

I can relate to being a nervous wreck, it gets better with time! but yes do take him back to A&E. I hope he is well, let us know how you get on.

Ok so my little fella is fine! The Dr thinks I am more affected by the trauma than he is at the moment and it's only natural to be as anxious as I am right now x I know that's true because I won't let my self sleep at night and keep having the most awful flash backs from his accident. He said they will pass with time which l believe it's not been long x we were so close to losing him he had a very Big bleed on his brain the drs couldn't tell me if he was going to make it or not!

So thanks for replying peeps
