Can any tell me have they suffered from vibrations after having surgery to remove a brain stem tumour...? My whole body feels like a tuning fork and it's terrifying and disturbing. I'm awaiting nerve test results but have a feeling it won't show anything as nothing seems to show up on my tests for my pain..

Hi Rocky1,
I had an Abscess on the Brain Stem, but they were able to give me a lot of I.V. Antibiotics, I am better than I was, spent a year in Hospital!
Due to Nerve Damage, now I am Deaf in my left Ear & can't swallow, so I am fed through a P.E.G!
Good Luck!!
Peter
I remember having similar sensations at a time of severe stress. Let's face it, the brain stem is an extremely sensitive and vulnerable area for surgery as it regulates the central nervous system amongst other things. So it will quite probably be a knock-on effect, if not direct nerve damage. I'm sure there will be other medications to calm these 'plugged into the mains' sensations but it was SSRI anti-depressants which eventually worked for me.
If its the same sensation I certainly don't envy you, Rocky. It was like I was permanently connected to a large electric motor ........... especially disturbing at quiet times. So it was a vibrating sensation all through the body together with constant ringing in the ears.
Good luck with this. I sincerely hope you can get it resolved soon. x
