I suffer with trapped nerves in my feet (ouch) any way our Smudge (pup) who has never shown any interest in my feet started nudging my foot until he could examine (no other way of describing his actions ) he then touched a part of my foot till I examined it myself - there was a lump there
I have been to foot clinic the podiatrists there have examined it and have referred me further
We don't think it is anything serious but this incident goes to show how clever our canine best friends are

Another honest tale about our two bedlington terriers my wife came home after day surgery and went straight to bed. Alfie the older dog followed her upstairs and jumped on the bed near her (they are not allowed ) he was not going to move When he needed to go out Smudge went upstairs and took over guard duty
both dogs are as gentle as lambs normally but on this day they were really determined my wife was not going to be disturbed until she was better and if anyone tried to disturb her god help them
A REALLY HEART WARMING STORY AREN'T THEY AMAZING.
All dogs are if they are cared for properly
HERE HERE., IT IS VERY RARELY AN ANIMAL'S FAULT WHEN IT BEHAVES IN A WAY HUMANS DON'T LIKE, IT'S NEARLY ALWAYS THE HUMAN'S FAULT. EVEN IN THE WILD IT'S THE HUMAN'S FAULT, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET BITTEN BY A BEAR DON'T GO INTO IT'STERRITORY, IF YOU WANT AN AMAZING PET TREAT THE ANIMAL IN AN AMAZING WAY.
Can't remember if I mentioned before but youngest son was born 3 months premature and when he came home from hospital he had oxygen and heart monitor. If the monitor went off his heart was stopping and we needed to resuscitate him.
As soon as he came home our saint Bernard sniffed at him and then went to sleep under his cot in the living room. Something she had never done with our other kids. Just before his heart monitor went off she sat barked and nudged his cot and the alarm stopped. This happened over and over again and we never had to intervene.
Some years later our eldest son was poorly and wanted to stay with his grandma whom lives a few streets away. Mid morning we got a call from Grandma that our dog had turned up at her house and was lying down by the front door. The strange thing is that we had only taken the dog there once or twice before.
