Just had a doctors appointment and ive finally got him to refer me to an endocrinologist

Great news, now go to the endo armed with information, remember 1/3 TBI patients and 1/2 SAH have some endocrine problem...remind them of this if necessary. Hope you get some answers to your problems.

I did a bit of research before hand so i was armed with a few big biological words.

Think what clinched it was me handcuffing myself to the desk till he agreed!

My GP said my thyroid test was ok and cos of my age(60 now) and probly thro menopause no point for me !! even tho I swing wildly from too cold to too hot at times, not all the time tho so I suppose that's ok

Got a referal to an endo today too, GP seemed really reluctant to refer me, it was only after I gave him a checklist of my symptoms that he changed his mind. Now so long as it's not another +4 months I might stay sane.

lol here's to this craze continuing...I think he changed his mind after seeing my list of symptoms vs. endocrine symptoms together with big bolded 'yes' and 'no' answers...leaving him with no ambiguity lol
