Hi, im new to site. I've been diagnosed a few years ago with Hemochromitosis, genetic. I have a pacemaker as a result of 4th degree AV block, attributed to Hemochromitosis. However after getting iron levels under control through phlebotomy, my heart function has improved and the pacemaker is only on call, where full pacemaker check revealed it only triggered once in three months. I feel pretty good, other than moderate arthritis in my hands. Also had abnormal liver enzymes for quiet a while, which has also cleared since the phlebotomies. Liver biopsy negative. Just a question...i get bad arthritis like pain In my hands, which seem to be worse prior to phlebotomy. Is there a correlation and does anyone else have this ?
Thanks
Wendy
