i have to have a gluton free diet,my husband now has to have a lactose diet,he can,t have cows milk,or eggs,is there a recipe book i can buy, help.

Eggs are lactose free but you can buy a gf egg replacer that's basically plant cellulose. Then you have to substitute butter with a lactose free spread like Pure their sunflower one is suitable for baking and Tesco's and Sainsbury's sell it and you have to use a gf flour and you will find that you can adapt many 'normal' recipes to be gf, lactose free and egg free.

What I did was make all the things that I missed eating the most but with wheat free gf ingredients and I use Pure sunflower spread for baking mostly. So it's not as hard as we first imagine.

I tend to use websites rather than recipe books. Eg all the recipes here piginthekitchen.co.uk/p/rec... are gluten, wheat, dairy and egg free. It is a good place to start!

I like to have a recipe book, there are some specialist ones on on Amazon. They tend to be American.

I have used this one: "Special Diet Solutions" by Carol Fenster, as I also have to avoid yeast and sugar.
