Hi,

Has anyone got kids?

Did you struggle to conceive, or have any problems during pregnancy?

Did you wean your kids on gluten or gluten free?

Do any of your children have coeliac?

Hi TPG,

Good questions. We do have some shy members who have CD and have had kids so we hope they join in.

Do bear in mind that just because you have CD doesn't mean that you'll have a Coeliac child and that going gluten free hugely improves your chances of conceiving. Obviously CD damage can be severe and it can take 3 yrs for villi / body to heal and then a little longer for all our bits to function properly. The key is having your vitamin and minerals checked, eating healthily and having health check ups (inc hormone levels). Plus the odd dose of positive thinking ; ) A lot of people get pregnant when they least expect it...what do they say about a watched kettle never boiling?!

Thanks for posting and here's to some inspiring comments from Coeliacs here that have been there and got the T-Shirt plus the baby...
