Long story but I’ll keep it as short as I can. I have Pernicious Anaemia and Underactive Thyroid, Vitiligo. I have just changed surgery and whilst doing so looked at my medical records as far back as 2013 (when I was diagnosed with PA aged 43). I’ve noticed a blood test result showing negative for Anti Transglutanaise lev, however under that result is also read assay detected IGG and IgA antibodies to TTG . Can anyone help me understand what this means? Many thanks x

I cant interpret your tests Sarah but do you react to gluten? That is a good guide. You have other autoimmune conditions so you are susceptible to ai and coeliac is another ai. You really need to ask a doctor to interpret for you. However the coeliac diagnosis is given by examination using endoscope. Good luck, let us know how you get on. Diane
It's worth speaking to your doctor. It's possible they detected some antibodies, but that you were below the threshold (threshold for further investigation 7). Your doctor should have that number available.
