Hi

I have recently had a reaction to something as I came out in tiny blister like spots on inner arms, chest and stomach ....very itchy It maybe something in the garden but I wondered where the best place to go to to check for allergies is and also whether anyone else has had this as well as being celiac...is there any connection.

My daughter breaks out and itches when she gets glutened!

Yeah, it could be a condition called DH which is linked to coeliac disease and may be that you accidently had gluten. It's most common on your elbows and knees but you can get it anywhere.

I would go see your gp / consultant just to get it checked out.

Thanks for this. If it happens again I'm going to Ser doctor. I tried to get an appointment this time but they were so busy I just went to chemist for anti histamine tablets..which stopped the itching.

Hi

It could also be something like contact dermatitis. Best to check with your doctor.

If you’ve got time to spend on line, you could look at DermNet, a New Zealand site, with pictures of every rash under the sun.

I had DH with coeliac disease. It wouldn't have resolved with antihistamines, so at least you've eliminated that one. Fabric washing powder solutions can irritate in the way you describe.

Agree, DH it was not if anti-histimines fixed it. Must be a minor allergy to something.
