My homeopath suggested I may have gluten intolerance. I started a week ago to eat gluten free. My symptoms are stomach (upper) and under ribs both sides uncomfortable bloated feeling. Also like gas or wind (sorry) also lower back pain. Often tired. I have gallstones. My bloodtests all ok and had endoscopy. Any advise? Who has same symptoms?

Hi Bienchen

The symptoms Coeliac disease or Non-Coeliac gluten sensitivity are many and varied. What you are describing could be related to gluten, it could also be related to other health problems. Gall stones do seem to be associated often with problems with gluten.

As you have said that your blood tests were ok, I assume that you have been tested for Coeliac disease? Eliminating gluten for some time and then reintroducing it, is the suggested method for deciding if you are sensitive to gluten.
